Melissa McCarthy has an outdoor chance to add an Oscar to her Razzie
With the awarding of the Oscars Sunday, Hollywood is plagued by feverish rewards. But there are rewards that movie stars do not want.
The winners of Golden Raspberries, for the worst films and performances of the year, have been announced.
Sherlock Holmes rehash Holmes & Watson has won four awards, including the worst film and the worst supporting actor for John C Reilly.
Melissa McCarthy won the Worst Actress Award, even though she is also nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars.
She received her Razzie for roles in The Happytime Murders and Life of the Party.
However, she received consolation in the form of a "Razzie Redeemer Award" for Can You Ever Forgive Me? – the film for which she is named best actress at the real Academy Awards.

She will play Israeli-born author Lee Israel, but she is an outsider for the Oscar – she will have to beat Glenn Close and Olivia Colman, among others, to win.
Even if she does, she will not be the first person to win an Oscar and a Razzie the same year.
That's what Sandra Bullock achieved in 2010, when she won the Oscar Award for The Blind Side a day after buying the raspberry-shaped statuette for All About Steve.
She even went to the Razzies ceremony with a trailer full of DVDs of the offending film.
Unfortunately, McCarthy did not get a chance to get his raspberry in person, because the Razzies no longer organize a physical ceremony.
