Netflix has ordered a 16-episode first season of the series, which stars Ben as a character called Clark Thompson.

Ben’s character apparently has to juggle his appointment as the Lord’s Messenger on Earth with a job in tech support.

He’s also reportedly engaged in a workplace romance on the sitcom, which also appears to have an apocalyptic element.

Ben wrote and directed Thunder Force, a superhero comedy starring Melissa alongside Oscar-winning actresses Octavia Spencer and Melissa Leo.
