What the police found
The first report was reported to the police on the morning of August 27, after Bernard showed up at his aunt's door, punched him in the shoulder, and fled, according to police orders. search obtained from WSET.

Bernard was arrested as he was coming out of a wooded area around 12:15, said a spokesman for Pittsylvania County, Virginia, in a statement sent to CNN. Bernard was naked when he was arrested.
In the woods, officers said they found a rifle, a white t-shirt, blue jogging pants and black sneakers from the Nike brand, the warrant said.
