Now that the superb Mercedes-AMG CLA has a broken cover, it's only a matter of time before AMG gives the elegant sedan more power and a sporty makeover. We had our first glimpse of a prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 last summer, and the camouflage begins to detach as the side profile and sloping roof of this latest prototype are fully exposed.
That said, AMG design elements are still well hidden, with camouflage covering the Panamericana grille and a more aggressive bumper with wider air intakes. At the rear, a camouflage disguises AMG's rear bumper, spoiler, diffuser and quad exhausts. The prototype also rests lower than the ground and seems to have wider wheel arches than conventional CLA, although camouflage may deceive us.
