Metallica Announces New Children's Illustrated Book

Metallica has announced a new children's illustrated book. The ABC of Metallica is co-written by Howie Abrams, with drawings by Michael "Kaves" McLeer. It is available in stores and in digital version on November 26th. Part of the proceeds will go to All Within My Hands, Metallica's charitable foundation, which aims to fight hunger and support lifelong learning for the working population in struggling communities. The book is available for pre-order here.

In a statement on their website, the group wrote:

We have a new book coming out and this time it rhymes! We have a lot of fun The ABC of Metallica On November 26, 2019, the book is on sale in online bookstores, all for a good cause, part of the profits coming back to All Within My Hands, as we continue to support the education of workers and the fight against hunger.

Including rhymes and illustrations, The ABC of Metallica return to the story of the group of, duh, from A to Z! Each letter of the alphabet highlights a moment of our journey from Garage days at Puppeteer to fun facts about us. The book is co-written by Howie Abrams (The ruthless book of metal lists, Hip-Hop Alphabet), with illustrations by Michael "Kaves" McLeer, who participated in the Obey Your Master exhibition of Metallica in 2012.

Last year, Metallica unveiled its own brand of whiskey. In September, the group will perform a concert with the San Francisco Symphony entitled "S & M2".
