Nintendo released a new Terror Metroid teaser, which reveals a mysterious new company. The teaser itself is relatively short, at around thirty-five seconds. However, it does offer a glimpse into this secret society that players will explore in Terror Metroid. Please keep in mind that although it is short, this new teaser potentially comes with some heavy spoilers.
The teaser opens with Samus potentially getting off in an elevator. It then immediately switches to the protagonist looking at a series of hieroglyphics representing this mysterious new society. There is a brief glimpse of a statue, with a character who appears to be some sort of alien. Plus, there are a handful of animated graphics that play out multiple scenes.

Nintendo revealed for the first time Terror Metroid at E3 2021. The project was originally dark for several years, having originally been in development for the Nintendo DS before it was canceled. The title was then relaunched and re-announced during Nintendo’s presentation at E3 2021. Terror Metroid will arrive as a 2D platform game.
Terror Metroid will be released on October 8, 2021 for Nintendo Switch. A special Terror Metroid amiibo will be released alongside the game, giving Samus permanent health buffs.
