Justice Minister Nicole Belloubet said that a helicopter had landed in the yard that was not covered by any network.

Two gunmen jumped out of the helicopter to free Faid from the visiting room where he was with one of his brothers before escaping, the minister said. A third gunman remained in the helicopter with the pilot, who had been taken hostage.
No one was injured and the brother was arrested by the police.
