Six people were arrested in France, Belgium and Germany for a failed attempt at an Iranian opposition meeting in exile that took place this weekend in the suburbs of Paris and which brought together some 25,000 people.

According to the communiqué of the Belgian Federal Prosecution, it is an Iranian diplomat stationed in Austria.
The Belgian public prosecutor's office explained that the attack could have been thwarted thanks to the collaboration with the French and German judicial authorities.
The NCRI, which has its headquarters in Paris and organizes a meeting since 2003 as last Saturday, denounced that behind this project of attack is the regime of Tehran.
The attack, according to his note, was planned by "clerical regime terrorists in Brussels, with the help of diplomats" of the Republic.
The NCRI noted that the Iranian diplomat, identified by them as Asdollah A. and stationed in Austria since 2014, was the brain of the operation.
