Kia did not wrinkle and decided to climb the Stinger GT, the best gladiator of her lineup in our country, on the ring road course of Amozoc, in Puebla, to hold a duel with three of the cocks of the category; the BMW 435i Grand Coupe, the Audi A5 Sportback Elite and the Infiniti Q50 400 Sport.
The goal was not to remove the masks or cut the hair, but to demonstrate, in a battle on the Puebla trail of 3.36 km and 16 curves, that even without being in the premium league, the South Korean car has arguments to be a good proposition.
Each of the four models combined traveled more than 190 km with their performance at maximum capacity, which included challenges such as zero to 100 km / h, going from zero to 100 km / h, then the high total (0 -100-0 km / h), quarter mile and dynamic driving.

WHAT THE DUAL INITIATES
The first round was the acceleration, in which the Infiniti easily beat thanks to the capacity of its supercharged 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine with two turbos that generate 400 horsepower and 350 lb. ft. of torque, the most powerful of the participants in this battle, which allowed him to set a time of 6.81 seconds.
But the Stinger did nothing wrong, because even with 45 fewer horses and a weight very close to the Japanese specimen, about 1,760 kilos, he managed to stop the clock in 7 , 08 seconds.
For the second assault we went to zero-100-km / h, in which Infiniti was about to give his second bell, but he felt the dueling requirement and little before the end he had to be removed almost on crutches for a brake injury. With this, the winner was the Stinger to signal that he only needed 11.79 seconds and 187 meters to run this test.

In the third episode, the quarter mile, the BMW showed its excellent balance of weight (1690 kilos) and power (326 hp), which served to take the victory with a time of 15.46 seconds and a top speed of 151.57 km / h, while the South Korean sedan, although defended with nails and teeth, was the slowest of the group, although close, with a time of 16.46 seconds and 158 km / h.
In the last assault, of dynamic manipulation, each copy showed that she had her charms. There was no opponent for the Audi A5, that even with the smaller engine of the four, a 2.0-liter turbocharger of 252 hp, gave lectures on how to plant a car from this size on the asphalt, thanks to its four-wheel drive (quattro) and the technological arsenal that must help the driver in handling.
Still, the BMW has shown that it's very fun in this test and that he likes to drift because it is very easy to control. The Q50 400 Sport has shown that he likes straight lines and springs when cornering.

As for the Stinger, it's a more balanced car, which can fight to try to make a clean turn, without crushing the rim, or helping the steering to accelerate, thanks to its propulsion.
As materials and technology, the premium club members undoubtedly have many elements to show and that the Kia sends, even with its good proposal.
