Nintendo has repeatedly said that he did not intend to work with virtual reality. Even the company has noted that playing with such technology is not fun. Despite this, some of his fans dream of seeing some of their franchises in virtual reality.
The independent developer Aklar_45 is one of them, so he decided to work on a VR project from The Legend of Zelda . The designer used Unreal Engine 4 to recreate some of the most epic battles in the series.
The developer has shown some of his work on his YouTube channel. Thanks to that, we can see several battles in the first person against some bad guys. Previously, Aklar_45 had already recreated sections of Ocarina of Time taking advantage of the potential of Unreal Engine 4.
Their VR experiences respect the game world to some extent, as well as some of the Mechanisms needed to dismount bosses and enemies like Armogohma, Darknut, Ganondorf, Stallord and Volvagia. Then I share some videos courtesy of Aklar_45:
If you liked the result, you should know that the developer offers free demos of individual battles individually. Bear in mind that the demonstrations are compatible with HTC Vive and in some cases with Oculus Rift. You can find the download links in each video.
As for other Nintendo games, the Japanese can already enjoy virtual reality through the VR arcades Bandai Namco Mario Kart Arcade GP . We know that Nintendo is studying the use of virtual reality and even former president Tatsumi Kimishima said that they were looking for a way to implement it in Switch
However, all indications are that It will take a few years for the company to exploit this technology in its own project. . If you want to know more about virtual reality, visit this link
