But this intelligence apparatus has been the subject of harsh attacks from opponents who have indicated it as the body that is dedicated to monitoring their activities.
During the campaign, virtual elected president Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he would seek to disappear to be an instrument for spying on opponents of the regime.
