Kenya Lettuce takes gold in individual rowing

Mexican Kenia Lechuga won the gold medal at the individual rowing competition for women's shorts , at the Central American Games and Caribe Barranquilla 2018, with a time of 8: 40.74 minutes in Lake Calima Darién.

Alanis, from Monterrey, Nuevo León, defeated Cuban Ilianny Román, who won the silver medal with 8: 53.75 minutes, and the bronze belonged to Salvadoran Adriana Escobar, with 9: 12.30

In the event held on Sunday, Guatemala's Marelandysis Cedeño finished in fourth place with a time of 9: 15.19 minutes, beating Venezuelan Jenesis Pérez (9: 28, 79 minutes) and Colombian Monica Jimenez (9: 42.06).

With this triumph of Kenya Lachuga, Mexico adds five gold medals and one money to the rowing of Barranquilla 2018, which will be placed first by the countries of the fair D & L Central America and the Caribbean.
