MADRID (EFE) .- Xiaomi launches the MiA2, a terminal that replaces the Mi A1, with a powerful dual camera of 12 and 20 megapixels, a Snapdragon 660 microprocessor, which improves its performance, and the system. Android One operation.
The Chinese technology company, which recently made public, has today made the world presentation of this product in Madrid, in a sumptuous presentation in the pavilion Wizink before an audience of more than a thousand people.
The device has 4 or 6 GB of RAM and a storage of 32, 64 or 128 gigabytes, which will vary the price in 249, 279 or 349 euros (212, 238 or 297 dollars)
It will have a lightweight design -7.3 millimeters thick – recognizing the imprint on the back and a renewed silhouette, with very small screen margins and reduced edges.
One of the main novelties of the Mi A2 is its dual camera, which is placed in a vertical position and has a definition of 20 megapixel it includes an algorithm that enhances the image in low light situations.
In addition to improving lenses, Chinese society includes a "pixel binning" technology that combines contiguous pixels to better capture light.
Xiaomi launches a lower version of this model, the MiA2 Lite which also incorporates two lenses (5 megapixels) and two options: processing capacity of 3 and 4 gigabytes, storage of 32 and 64 gigabytes and a price of 179 and 229 euros, respectively
Both models will be equipped with Android One, which uses the operating system created by Google without any modification: this leaves the hands of the California business management, setting up to date and support of the "brain" of the mobile.
The device will be available in France on July 27, in Italy on August 8, in Spain on the 10th and in other countries of Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East. East and Africa, at dates yet to be defined. In the US market, the model will only be available in Colombia and Mexico.
