Before the celebration of the Mexico City Half Marathon, the Ministry of Public Security (SSP-CDMX) will put in place a safety and road safety device on the road that will be used by the participants. Here we tell you which avenues will remain closed.
The streets that will remain closed are: Paseo de la Reforma, Fuente Bicentenario in Prado Sur, Insurgentes Sur and Norte; Calzada Chivatito, South Prado, Avenue of Composers; Mississippi River, Rosales Street and Florence from Hamburg.
The sporting event will begin at 07:00 on Sunday, July 29 at the Bicentennial Fountain and culminate in the Angel of Independence where 230 police elements of the SSP-CDMX will participate, supported with 61 vehicles and a helicopter.
Therefore, the broadcast will be affected and so that you do not suffer delays, the alternative avenues that can be used are the Constitutional Avenue, President Masaryk, the Inner Circuit and Hidalgo Avenue.
Similarly, the Metrobús reported that due to the CDMX half-marathon on Sunday, July 29, changes will be made to the service on lines 1, 3, 4 and 7 from 5:30 am.
The police will start the night of this Saturday for the assembly on Paseo de la Reforma Avenue and will end on Sunday at around 12:00 pm, at the end of the sports activities.
