Hurricane "Willa" hit the northwestern coast of Mexico last night as a powerful category 3 meteor, with sustained winds of 195 km / h, causing storms and power outages in several areas of the State of Sinaloa.
The intense hurricane in Wura Category 3 caused severe storms and wind gusts in Sinaloa, Durango and Nayarit, the National Water Commission (Conagua) said on its Twitter account.

Intense rainfall caused flooding on the roads and streets of Sinaloa, but no loss of life was reported. However, the authorities remain vigilant and have asked the public for extreme precautions.

The National Meteorological Service (NMS) reported that the eye of the hurricane measured 46 kilometers in diameter and that its circulation covered the states of Sinaloa, Durango, Nayarit, Jalisco and Zacatecas as well as the Maras Islands.
The strong gusts of wind cause a strong swell on the coasts of Sinaloa, Jalisco and Nayarit, with waves going from four to six meters of height, it is thus called to suspend the marine navigation.
The US National Hurricane Center (CNH) said in its latest report that Willa would weaken quickly in the next 12 hours as it enters the country.
The NMS coincided with these forecasts and predicted that the hurricane would weaken on the night of Tuesday and early Wednesday morning, until it turned into a tropical storm.
Mexico began preparing for Monday with the imminent arrival of Willa. The National Civil Protection Coordinator, Luis Felipe Puente, announced today that 4,250 people have been evacuated in the states of Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco.
These people were transferred to some of the 58 shelters in these three states.
An emergency plan has also been activated and 12,000 elements of the army have been deployed to provide assistance and protection in the affected areas.
