The annual change in Bucaramanga ranks 13th at 3.10%, compared to an average of 3.33%. Despite this increase, the "City of Parks" remains one of the cheapest cities in the country.
Cartagena is the most expensive; while Quibdó is the most economical.
In Bucaramanga, according to the Dane report, the items that had the most impact on the CPI this month were in their respective order: entertainment (0.55%), housing (0.41 %), health (0.28%), transportation (0.20%), food (0.19%) and clothing (0.14%).
Among those who weigh the least are education and other expenses.
In the country
In October, annual inflation was 3.33%, 0.10 percentage points higher than the index recorded last month, when it stood at 3.23%.
Education, health, transportation and housing were the groups with the highest annual change in the CPI (consumer price index) of the country.
Education stood at 5.37%, health at 4.64%, transportation at 4.39% and housing at 4.08%.
With these figures, the annual change in the national CPI in October was 0.72 percentage points lower than the same index in the first 10 months of last year, or 4.05%.
