HERMOSILLO, son. (approx) .- In the last 72 hours, about 900 people have crossed Sonora, in rows of up to eight buses, carrying members of the migrant caravan en route to Tijuana, Baja California.

The strategy of the governments of Sonora and Sinaloa is to provide transportation, food and medical care, so that no traveler stays in any of the municipalities of the two entities.

Up to now, the organization has gone through four groups of 200 to 300 members, for a total of 900 migrants.

The route taken by the Central Americans goes from Guadalajara to El Arenal, Jalisco, where on Tuesday, 800 people, including children and elderly, spent the night to continue their journey.

From there, the next stage of the exodus of migrants will be in Escuinapa, Sinaloa, where two thousand people were counted this morning aboard buses and 800 others are waiting for a transfer.

By the end of this day, approximately two thousand 900 members of the migrant caravan will have traveled the geography of Sonora.

This Thursday, the number is estimated at 800. Each day will have different numbers, because migrants stay in cities where they offer hospitality and the opportunity to transport them to Tijuana, Baja California.
