A girl survives leukemia and accompanies the altar to the donor who rescued her

Skye and Ryals are united by a feeling of affection, gratitude and admiration that will be impossible to break. With just 3 years, Skye Savren-McCormick has just experienced one of the most special moments of her life: being the head of flowers on the wedding day of Ryals, the woman who saved her life

. the small Skye Savren-McCormick juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia. The same year, he had his first bone marrow transplant. The donor was Hayden Hatfield Ryals a young woman who is now 26 years old and on June 9 she is married.

After the transplant, Skye needed a cellular transfusion and finally a new transplant in April 2017. But all these efforts had their reward and eventually Skye overcame leukemia.

Months later, Savren-McCormick and her husband Todd received a letter from Ryals who contacted Be the Match, the organization that managed the transplant. Then began an exchange of messages that resulted in a gift letter to the family of Skye: an invitation to Ryals' wedding on June 9th.

The family traveled to Alabama and on the day of the ceremony, the little one was in charge of scrolling to the altar with rose petals. When Ryals saw her, she told ABC: "I went up and I fell to my knees and all I could do was smile."
