Our expensive smartphones are exposed to everyday accidents, due to the impossibility of separating them. Sometimes, the famous tempered glass or the best case is not enough to save it and there is none that, in the best case, the door to the technical service, or passes directly from the Money on a new one. It seems like a young German inventor has the solution, which more than one wants to have now.
This is an airbag system for mobile phones that deploys when it detects that it is falling to the ground. How it works? Simple An activation mechanism with sensors that detect when the device is in free fall "releases" a firm design that protects the phone and prevents its destruction on the ground.
It was created by the young engineer Philip Frenzel, who used small "legs" that came out of the corners of the famous airbag. In this way, it is possible to cushion the fall to prevent blows and protect the essential glass from the touch screen.
Although not yet on sale, the designer has already obtained a patent and received a prize from the German company Mechatronics, so we could have an "airbag" sooner than we think. And how well we would come.
