The executive pointed out that this new reality has led to the development of a new segmentation based on the categories of aircraft "Small, Medium, Large and Extra-Large", which reflect the operation airlines.

Airbus estimated future demand for 28,550 new aircraft, which represents more than three quarters of the total demand expected.

He says that of the 37,390 new aircraft that will be needed, 26,540 will cover the need for growth and 10,850 will replace the aircraft of previous generations. less effective in consumption.
