According to official sources, permission is given after the ship of the Spanish NGO has requested permission to land through the Direccion de Salvamento Marítimo, and that the mayor of Barcelona, ​​Ada Colau, asked that the ship arrive at the port of her city.

The ship rescued the 60 immigrants who traveled on a raft in the waters near Libya. Among them were four miners, two of them unaccompanied by adults, and several women.

The request to Spain was also made after Italy and Malta refused to receive the ship with the Spanish flag, having learned that there had been carried out the rescue.

In his account of the social network Twitter, the NGO informed the permission of the Spanish executive: "In the face of inhuman policies and closed ports in Italy and Malta, we are returned home, thank you for making it possible. "
