Sledgehammer Games and Activision want to have fun never stopping at Call of Duty: WWII . That's why they are now preparing a summer event that will run from July 31st to August 28th. In this game, players can take advantage of a card that will turn them into lead soldiers.
The name of this card is Sandbox and you will be controlling a plastic miniature soldier there to fight a sandbox fight. Thus, it is a scenario that presents gigantic beach toys, as well as huge sandcastles.
Also, in Sandbox, players will need to take care of Captain Butcher. This is an NPC that will use a magnifying glass to burn the central part of the map with the strength of the sun's rays. So every time you face a fight in this part of the map, you have to be careful not to die.
It's important to note that Sandbox will be an exclusive PlayStation 4 for 30 days. This means that players on other platforms will have to wait until the end of Days of Summer before they can play on it.
That's not all, since Days of Summer also brings new battles between planes. Thus, players can already enjoy battles in air vehicles on the pyramids of Egypt or the mountains of Crimea.
Finally, the event also adds 3 new weapons, adds new equipment that you can buy with Captain Boucher and introduces new community challenges.
