CFE 130 mdp will be invested to guarantee the energy

Culiacán.- The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) will invest 130 million pesos in the works, including the construction of a substation, to solve the problem of supply in electricity in the capital of the state of Sinaloa.

This was reported by Roberto Vidal León, Director of Distribution of the CFE, to Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, who heard the explanation of how the economic resources will be used to guarantee the supply in electricity. Of the 130 million, 30 will be used for the replacement of underground wiring and airlines.

The work to replace the wiring will be done in three stages: the first began on July 4 to replace 800 square meters of underground wiring and construction of one thousand 200 meters of medium-voltage overhead line, detailed Vidal León.

Later, in this month and August, more than six thousand 300 meters of power cable and damaged accessories will be replaced and He added that the construction work will be carried out in the reduction station of Cedros of 12 MVA33 / 13.2kV ​​to provide energy in the area of ​​influence that includes the subdivisions Villa del Cedro, Stanza Tuscany, Valle Alto, Conquista and Villas del Río.

He also referred to the other 100 million, which are for the construction of the substation of Villas del Cedro, in the vicinity of Culiacancito, the works will start in November of this year and are estimated, according to the project, to be completed in a year.

With these works will be solved The problem of lack of electricity to the state capital, but also will generate energy for new settlements that will be built with the natural growth of the city ​​of Culiacán.

Governor Ordaz Coppel acknowledged the CFE 's willingness to deal with the problem in depth, not only in the emergency, but also at the root, since this lack of electrical energy significantly affected the quality of life of the population.
