El Imperial an iconic place through which various representative bands of independent rock have passed, announced that will definitely close its doors .
The place, located in the street of Álvaro Obregón, in Colonia Roma held a party for its tenth anniversary where the owners announced that it would be the last night where the doors of the premises would be open.
The Imperial Club which opened on May 21, 2008 became a must for young people who enjoyed enjoying live music. According to a publication on its official Facebook site, during the 10 years of activity, more than 2,000 groups have gone on stage and there have been more than 3,000 concerts.
Various musical groups, soloists, DJs and musicians stage the venue, expressed gratitude via Twitter and lamented the closure of the place.
