In a communiqué issued by the Chancellery of the Republic, the Executive congratulated the French community, ratifying its desire to strengthen friendly relations

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan Government and people, extended his sincere and fraternal congratulations to the People of the French Republic, on behalf of the occasion of the commemoration of the 229th anniversary of the revolutionary and heroic struggle of the Gallic people for econciliación and unity, evoked as the taking of the Bastille.

On this special date, the Bolivarian Government takes this opportunity to recall the origin of our stories, which converge towards the principles of independence.
