November 2nd .- The National Water Commission (Conagua) plans to finish the maintenance work of the Cutzamala network at 6 am this Saturday, but the keys will be open until 8 am.

The general director of Conagua, Roberto Ramirez de la Parra, indicated that until Friday evening, there was an 88% advance on the works and completed the works on fronts one and two: "we only have need the front three ".

"We only need three sides with one of the pieces that will help us solve all the puzzle we are building in the area and that's the hardest part because Is precisely the piece that needs to be adjusted so that others stay precisely in the right placement, "he said in statements.

Given this, we expect to finish at 6:00, but "our start time to open the keys is still at 8:00 this Saturday, Nov. 3".

This, he explained, "precisely for any eventuality that may arise during the installation of this part, plus the part of the corresponding welding, because the weather conditions of this type of work did not help us."

He added that the Villa Victoria Dam was opened this Friday at 7:05 pm to allow water supply for Cutzamala. The transfer of the liquid between the dam and the system takes "about five hours, plus two hours of filling the internal tanks, at least it will take us seven hours," he said.

"Considering to be able to open the key at eight o'clock in the morning (Saturday), we must already start bringing and moving water here and that is why we decided to open the Villa Dam. Victoria, "he added.
