United States Marine Services collaborated on research

Biologists and scientists of the United States. Cascadia Research Collective organization confirmed on July 24 the discovery of the marine species "Steno bredanensis" half-dolphin / half-whale near the island of Hawaii.
These experts reported that the animal inherited rough teeth and dolphin fins, while the shape of its skull would belong to a melon-headed whale
"Last year we We have published this picture of a possible hybrid between a melon-headed whale and a hard-nosed dolphin that was taken to Kauai during our project, August 2017, "reads a publication.
In addition, they thanked the US Navy and the National Fisheries Service for funding their project. It is expected that this research team will return to the waters of Kauai next September
Kauiai is the oldest and fourth largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago.
