LONDON

The Serbian Novak Djokovic won the fifth set, and won the Spanish Rafael Nadal for 6-4, 3-6, 7- 6 (9), 3-6 and 10-8, in five hours and 15 minutes, to reach the fifth time the final of the Wimbledon tournament where he will face this Sunday with the South African Kevin Anderson

The match had been suspended yesterday, with the advantage of Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, and 7-6 (9) after two hours and 53 minutes, and resumed today with the closed roof of the center. Nadal saved a match point in the 16th match, but pressed whenever he was to serve, he missed the second Serb chance.

The Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge did not want to miss this match and they went to the All England Lawn Tennis Club, in their first act together without their husbands, Princes Enrique and Guillermo, and from the royal box they contemplated the victory of Djokovic.

Djokovic won at Anderson in five of the six times that they faced and both in which they were measured on the grass. It was in these same tracks, in 2011 and 2015.

The only victory of the Johannesburg player was in the first confrontation between the two, in Miami 2008, on the court.
