Animal rights activists in Italy called for stiffer penalties against animal cruelty after a dog of rescued saved to people in a great earthquake was poisoned and killed
Kaos a German Shepherd, was acclaimed as the " hero's hero " from Italy after find survivors buried under the rubble of hours after a magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck the city of Amatrice in the center of Italy in August 2016, killing 230 people.

The animal rights activists criticized their killer as a "dangerous criminal" and called for tougher penalties against those who mistreat and kill animals.
They killed the hero who, along with the rescuers, dug with his four legs during those dramatic hours to find the survivors of this massacre, said Rinaldo Sidoli, director of communication of Animalisti Italiani.
"Kaos saved humans, and those same humans poisoned him." Kaos, born in Rome in early 2015, also helped rescuers during an earthquake in Norcia at the end of October 2016.
The Norcia earthquake was the most powerful of any kind. Italy in a decade, but no life has been lost. More recently, he helped find a missing man.
We will not rest until justice is done. We must push the political world towards a new law that provides harsher penalties for those who mistreat and kill animals, Sidoli said.
