Edomex, CDMX and Puebla focus electoral crimes

Since the beginning of the current electoral process, in September 2017, until last May, three entities have concentrated 70% of the alleged commission of electoral crimes. It is the State of Mexico, Mexico and Puebla where the Special Prosecutor for Electoral Crimes (Fepade) opened 541 out of 746 research files which began during this period

According to their monthly reports, in State of Mexico they were opened 403 in the capital of the country 88 and in Puebla 50 . The most reported crimes changed the Federal Register of Voters and the vote purchase with 556 and 63 respectively. Crimes such as the collection of receipts have generated the opening of 10 search files and the assignment of goods or services under the load of 20 cases

December, February, October and May are the months who concentrated 72% of opening files with 190, 135, 112 and 107 respectively.

From the beginning of the campaign until last May, the PRI was the political party that concentrated the largest number of investigative files related to the alleged execution of electoral crimes by militant supporters. by the PAN-PRD-MC coalition

According to the Fepade, there are up to 70 electoral crimes that can engage citizens, officials, and fun Election agents and ministers of religion

From January to June, the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation received 8,584 lawsuits and controversies resulting from the current electoral process, which figure could reach 50,000 .

In the 2012 presidential elections, the appeals to the highest electoral body were 28,588 whereas in the intermediate countries of 2015 the figure was 26,733 .

The lawsuit for the protection of the political electoral rights of the citizen is the main appeal filed in these six months with 4,569 that is to say 53% of the total

• Vote more than once in the same election
• Ask for a vote in exchange for pay or other reward
• Collect or retain citizens' credentials to vote
• Usurper the character of # 39; a poll official
• Proselytize or squeeze voters inside the box in order to steer the direction of his vote or refrain from issuing it
