MEXICO .- In an important advance in affective computing, scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ( MIT, for their acronyms in English) have developed a personalized machine learning system that will offer children with autism better therapeutic outcomes to recognize the emotional states of the people around them.

To test the system, they performed tests with 35 children with autism, 17 from Japan and 18 from Serbia. three to 13 years old.
