Facebook said Monday that more than 800,000 users may have been affected by an error that has unlocked the people they had blocked.
The social network stated that the error was active between May 29 and June 5. Although the person unlocked by this error can not see the content shared by users with their friends, they may have seen items published in a larger audience. Facebook says that they have solved the problem.
This is the second software error in less than a month that the company is reporting to its users. In June, Facebook revealed that another software error has caused some users to publish information regardless of their previous configuration. The error has affected at least 14 million users in May for several days.
