Execution of five men in Huimanguillo, Tabasco

VILLAHERMOSA, Tab. (Appropriate) .- Five men, including a union leader, were executed last night and two others were injured in the municipality of Huimanguillo, considered one of the most violent of the entity.

Local police reported that a group of gunmen had entered the "Flaca" bar in the town of Palo Mulato and shot those present, leaving four dead and two injured.

Two men died at the scene and two others died after being taken to the hospital. Two others were injured.

The dead were identified as Eduardo González Castro and Francisco Vázquez Ramírez, aged 20 and 50, and Emmanuel Rodríguez and Saúl Jiménez, 24, from Huimanguillo.

An hour earlier, union leader Javier Velázquez, aka The Pochi, aboard his Ford Lobo truck, while he was traveling on the Cárdenas-Coatzacoalcos road, through the community of Pico de Oro of the Huimanguillo municipality.
