"Apparently, Firefox is set as a browser that understands privacy and has also done a fantastic job of improving its security," said Cooper Quintin, security researcher for Electronic Frontier Foundation, the non-profit organization that defends digital rights. "On the other hand, Google is essentially an advertising company, so it's unlikely that you'd be interested in making Chrome more respectful of privacy."
