Grocery store and 400 items up to 50% on the cheapest day of the year

Among the novelties that will be discovered during the least expensive day of the year organized by Walmart and Maxi Despensa include: On Friday, November 2, you will have a 24-hour continuous schedule that will run every Saturday. On Sundays they will open from 7 am to midnight.

Mayari Prado, Walmart's business coordinator in Mexico and Central America, said the logistics needed to prepare for the event takes about a year. An additional 120 containers are transferred to the normal fleet. The level of logistics increases by 25%.

From a business perspective, buyers travel to different parts of the world to search for items they prefer, those that are fashionable or have been identified as the most sought after.

Capacity, employment and credit

The capacity of the storage centers increases by 17%, since they import additional seasonal products, Prado said.
