Hacienda receives 50% less tax on gasoline in June • Forbes México

The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) collected 50% less special tax on production and services (IEPS) for gasoline and diesel in June 2018.

The SHCP declared that 12,164 million pesos (MP) they entered the Mexican coffers for this concept compared to 23,162 mp during the same month of 2017, according to their Report on the economic situation,
public finances and debt public in the second quarter of 2018.

During the first half of the year, the department in charge of public finances reported a decline in fuel IEPS of 27% to 83.780 mp, against 110.026 mdp in the same period.

The general IEPS dropped 32% to 25,466 bps in the sixth month.

"Compared with the same period of 2017, oil revenue and IEPS fuel-free taxes increased by 8.7% and 3.4% annually respectively."

With regard to the hydrocarbon exploration tax, dependence headed by González Anay recorded a real growth of 17% to 452 CDM

In its cumulative measure, it increased by 11.5% to 2451 CDM.

In total, non-oil tax revenues increased by 3.1% in June to reach 251,715 million.
