mexico.- Stalkerware, an application that allows parents to supervise the internet activity of their children, was the access of cybercriminals for RObar information of minors.
Thanks to this, they received information from Facebook messages, SMS, phone calls and GPS coordinates. This left some 28,000 users injured, many of them children.
People used illegally the software to spy on their partners, while the bosses use them to track the activity of the workers.
One of these applications, called Xnore, can intercept messages, photos, browsing history and even the GPS coordinates. You can also secretly record phone calls.
It meant that they could monitor secretly messages, recorded phone calls and the location of thousands of users, many of whom are children.
After criticizing this serious failure, Xnore removed the function from its site the Web and added an extra level of authentication when adding devices.
The hacker known only as L & M has detected a flaw in a second application called Copie9, which offers a service similar to Xnore.
Copy9 did not respond to a request for comment on the security breach.
