Prague roared more than ever. Thousands of bikers invaded the streets of the Czech capital on Saturday in the iconic Harley-Davidson to commemorate the brand's 115th anniversary.
Prague is the seat of a 90-year-old Harley-Davidson club, responsible for celebrating this anniversary each year. This is the biggest party of this brand that exists outside of its original country. In fact, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where this bike was born, an event very similar to that of Prague takes place every month of August.
More than 60,000 motorcyclists, all dressed in leather, and 40,000 visitors from dozens of countries gave color and noise to the day. Of all these bikers, only 4000 were chosen to parade with their "Harleys" through the center of the city.
In 2017, Harley-Davidson sold nearly 40,000 new bikes in Europe, more than 16% of its total sales. Figures that clearly show that the classics never go out of style.
