Mexico City (MiMorelia.com/neo) .- Hyundai Motor of Mexico announced the release in the country of the 2019 versions of its models Santa Fe and Elantra, incorporating new elements in the exterior design and integrating new technologies to the interior, allowing the automation of functions and the numerical control of various aspects of the vehicle.
These models reinforce two of the segments that Hyundai is competing on, namely sedans and SUVs. From January to September 2018, the brand sold 37,067 automobiles, of which 9.6% were Elantra units and 3.7% were Santa Fe units.
Regarding the SUV, the new features include an increase in interior space (the trunk, for example, now has a capacity of 1016 liters), an eight-inch LCD screen, automatic air conditioning, three modes of driving, a system that detects the proximity of other vehicles, sensors that monitor the rear seats to detect motions, connectivity with Android and Apple and a wireless charger.
The most equipped version of the 2019 model from Elantra features an 8-inch screen, a wireless charger and an audio system with different ambient sound modes, as well as a card incorporating a new display and commands.
"The Santa Fe and Elantra 2019 news reflect Hyundai's commitment to providing the Mexican consumer with the highest technology and best-in-class products," said the brand's spokespersons.
