The former governor of Chihuahua, Caesar Duarte, is no longer an activist of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), informed the national leader of this political body, Claudia Ruiz Massieu, who stated that his rights had been suspended, so that this decision could always be revoked.

During a brief press conference, the tricolor leader declared that the decision was framed by the long process of expulsion which began two years ago and is responsible for the National Commission of Justice Party.

Asked about the delay in the total expulsion of Duarte from the tricolor party, Ruiz Massieu said that it was characteristic of the process followed at the Commission and hearing guarantees given to the former governor .

This weekend, in Chihuahua, the elected president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, committed to speed up the process of extradition against Duarte Jáquez, once he will have assumed the presidency.

He assured that he would ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) to proceed in accordance with the law, with the help of the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
