At least three hunters pursuing a group of rhinos were devoured by lions in a reserve Private animals in southeastern South Africa, reported the reserve owner Thursday.
Armed with a rifle and an ax, the hunters entered the Sibuya reserve early Monday morning. The next day, they were found dead, with their mutilated bodies declared owner of the reserve, Nick Fox .
"They found themselves in the middle of a herd of lions, a big one"

Thousands of rhinos are killed each year in Africa especially for their horns, which are very popular among traditional Chinese and Vietnamese medicine practitioners.
