Mexicana Minera Frisco has an agreement with Canadian subsidiary GoldCorp

Minera Frisco of the group of companies of the tycoon Carlos Slim, said Thursday that he had formalized an association agreement with Minera Peñasquito, a subsidiary of the Canadian GoldCorp perform exploration and exploitation work in central Mexico.

The company stated in a statement to the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) that it will also participate in the project in the Mazapil Valley area, in the central state de Zacatecas

Frisco is dedicated to the exploration and exploitation of mining lands for the production and marketing of gold bullion with grades of gold and silver. It also produces copper in the form of a cathode and concentrates of copper, lead-silver and zinc. It currently has nine mining units operating in Mexico.
