Mexico, the world's third largest market for Toyota hybrids

Guillermo Díaz, director of operations of Toyota Motor Sales Mexico informed that after the United States and Japan, our country is the third in which more hybrid-propulsion vehicles are marketing the # 39; company.

To reinforce the brand's strategy in the hybrid segment, Guillermo Díaz confirms that in a few months a new hybrid sedan will be integrated at the end of the year.

In terms of sales in this first half, the figure is 51,948 cars, a growth of 1.2% purchased the same period of the previous year; however in 2017 Toyota placed 105,464 units in our market, which represented market share of 6.9 percent.

In the first half of the year the top 5 best-selling models are: Hilux (8,632), Yaris Sedan (7,492), Avanza (5,488), Hiace (4,795), Corolla (3,465).

Since the arrival of the Japanese company in Mexico in 2002, she sold 945,316 units.
