The 2019 edition of the world's largest mobile phone event is over and we have found much more news than in previous editions.

The two main themes of the event were 5G (another year) and, of course, flexible cell phones. The star of the event was without a doubt the folding phone Huawei, the most expensive Mate X with 8 inch screen when it is fully extended.

But it was not the only collapsible phone we had the chance to meet. Energizer launched its Energizer P8100S, a folding phone with a monster battery of 10,000 mAh and Nubia showed us his Nubia Alpha, a hybrid between bracelet and phone with a flexible screen of 4 inches.

In addition to flexible phones, came presentations of flagship phones from companies such as Nokia (with its Nokia 9 PureView five cameras), Xiaomi (with his Mi 9) and LG (with the LG G8 and LG V50For the latter, the LG V50, the South Korean company has presented a solution that could cover the lack of his foldable phone until it arrives: a secondary screen which adapts to the phone and doubles its functionality.

Regarding 5G, we have seen many interesting demonstrations that, although they still do not allow us to see clearly how the fifth generation of mobile networks will be integrated into the daily lives of users, allow us at least to see more clearly that technology is closer to being a reality

It's possible that next year we'll see 5G-related topics much more concrete and perhaps more folding phones, if not more. Whatever the case may be, CNET and CNET in Spanish will be there to inform you.
