After a week rich in controversy over the cancellation of the new Mexico City International Airport (NAICM), the BREAD and PRD urged the future government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador to act transparently on payments, offsets and mechanisms to be put in place.

Estephany Santiago Fernández, secretary of PRD communication, said the payments should be transparent and fully in line with the law, without affecting entrepreneurs who had opted for an investment in the current country.
