Also, The Federal Executive expressed concern over the separation policy of migrant families put in place by the United States Government and therefore asked the Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, the rapid reunification of separated families at the border . and stressed the need to find a permanent alternative that favors the well-being and rights of minors.
In a statement, it was reported that President Peña expressed concern about events such as Mr. Rodolfo Rodríguez, a 92-year-old Mexican citizen with legal residency in the United States, suffered in California, noting that these incidents fuel a climate of hatred and racism that we must avoid.
In commercial matters, they coincide constructively advance the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Federal Government hoped that the negotiation would continue for the purpose to end it as soon as possible.
