Lima. The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Rogers Valencia, said Monday that Peru is seeking to export $ 1 billion a year in non-traditional exports to China in 2023.

"In September 2018, we were exporting 382 million USD to China and within five years we hope to reach the one billion US dollars of non-traditional products from Peru," he told Agencia Andina.

The Minister pointed out that the ITIC was the main trade event of the Chinese authorities and aimed to show China's openness to the world and the commercial opportunities to increase imports in this market.
