Policeman with an electric gun at the man on the sidewalk

A video shows a police officer using a stun gun on a man sitting on a sidewalk, apparently obeying the police officer's orders.

Lancaster police say the officers were summoned around 10 am Thursday because a man was threatening passersby with a bat.

In the video posted on Facebook, you see policeman Philip Bernot telling Sean Williams to sit on the sidewalk with the legs extended. Williams does it and Bernot from behind, applies the electric shock.

The police say that Williams, 27, refused to follow the instructions of the officer. Williams told WGAL-TV that he was following orders and that he had no idea of ​​the reason for the police action.
