Independent candidate Jaime Rodríguez Calderón "El Bronco" recognized the triumph of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, candidate of the coalition "Juntos Haremos Historia".

"El Bronco" said that he will return to govern Nuevo León from 8:00 am Monday and stressed that he was the first independent candidate for the presidency and is the first independent governor.
"From tomorrow, we will work hard for Nuevo León," he said.
He commented that he will send an official letter to the local Congress to inform him of his return.
He thanked the people who supported him in his campaign and said he was satisfied with his participation.
"I am satisfied, I am happy because we had the support of thousands of people and we had a campaign without the excesses," he said.
