Aguirre explained that Mexico would start receiving water on Tuesday.

The spokesman of Conagua, José Luis Alcudia, affirmed that the works of the Cutzamala system were in line with the goal of securing the pumping of water in the valley of Mexico.

Alcudia noted that until now, reports indicate that work in the system is progressing well, so that the distribution of water could begin at 3 pm Tuesday.
